Dutch and Spinnin's very own Sied van Riel is making his debut in the vocal trance genre with a brand new own production called "Stealing Time". He's supported with the vocals from New York based singer Nicole McKenna who is giving a very fine performance.

On first listen you immidiatly notice that this is definitely the work from Mr. Sied van Riel, as he's using his own 'patented' elements. You can spot his claps and hihats without even attentivenly listening. When the vocal drops you will immidiatly get a good feeling about this track. Never heard of Nicole McKenna before to be honest, but I hope to see her name pop up more frequently after this. She sings on a pretty high tone, but managed to keep it in key and not false at all. The break has a neat melodic riff coming in and mixed up with Nicole's vocal Sied created a proper climax for a vocal trancer.

To be fair, I did not really like this one when I've heard the first previews on youtube. After a while when the review copy from Spinnin' arrived I listened to it two or even three times in a row, and started to really appriciate it. It's not a vocal-trancer with over the top melodies, effects and other crazy stuff like the cheese dripping Dash Berlin franchise, but just a more laid-back production for in the background. With support from Armin van Buuren already I'm pretty sure this one will be gold in the charts when it's out.
